Christina Lazar-Schuler

Christina Lazar-Schuler is a photographer turned graphic designer. Her images are condensed and dainty, each image is perfectly designed, each element in perfect harmony with the next. Her work shows simplicity and elengance. All of her work that i researched is in a bordered box, all contained and trimmed down to perfection.

This is one of my favourite images of hers because in contrast to all the other artists she has used a original photograph rather then a line drawing or cartooned version. I love the effect it gives, because it gives the image more depth and reality, where as the line drawings are more one sided and flat. Each element in this image relates to the subject, all the colours tie together and the hand written description, simple yet effective gives the image a brilliant finish. I will be using her work as my main source of inspiration.
